Welcome to the State of Alabama’s COVID-19 Relief Program Application Portal.

This portal provides access to applications for COVID-19 relief funding via the CARES Act Coronavirus Relief Fund and the American Rescue Plan.


State of Alabama American Rescue Plan Local Fiscal Recovery Fund

The American Rescue Plan provides funds for state and local governments to respond to the COVID-19 emergency, support the ongoing public health response, and provide for economic recovery:

· Support COVID-19 response efforts to continue to decrease spread of the virus;

· Replace lost revenue for eligible state, local, territorial, and Tribal governments;

· Support immediate economic stabilization for households and businesses; and,

· Address public health and economic challenges.

The State of Alabama Department of Finance has established a separate fund in the State Treasury for federal funds and is authorized to spend from those funds within the parameters of the ARP Act and other federal and state law.
